Site criado para a banda paulista de rock Hellene. O site deveria trazer a estética do primeiro EP da banda, chamado ‘Zeitgeist’, e ter um visual mais soturno, uma vez que Hel é a deusa nórdica do submundo. A personalidade da deusa Hel difere das dos deuses do mundo inferior das demais mitologias: ela não é boa e nem má, simplesmente justa. Quando os espíritos dos bondosos, dos doentes e dos idosos eram trazidos à sua presença, ela cuidava deles e lhes dava conforto, mas àqueles a quem ela julgava como maus, impiedosamente os arremessava nas profundezas geladas de Niflheim. O conceito de causa e efeito, de ‘assim na Terra como no céu (ou submundo)’ foi a maior inspiração para a criação do website. Como a banda faz um rock moderno e atual, a fonte e design utilizados também representam essa estética limpa e pesada. A paleta de cores preto, vermelho e branco foi escolhida para esse projeto, assim como o contraste no uso de fontes mais pesadas misturadas com fontes mais leves – Site: http://www.helleneoficial.com.br
Website created for the rock band Hellene. The site should bring the aesthetics of the band’s first EP, called ‘Zeitgeist’, and have a darker look, since Hel is the Nordic goddess of the underworld. The personality of the goddess Hel differs from that of the gods of the underworld of other mythologies: she is neither good nor bad, just fair. When the spirits of the benevolent, the sick, and the old men were brought before her, she took care of them and gave them comfort, but to those whom she judged to be evil, she mercilessly hurled them into the cold depths of Niflheim. The concept of cause and effect, of ‘so on earth as in heaven (or underworld)’ was the greatest inspiration for the creation of the website. As the band makes modern and heavy rock, the typography and design used also represent that clean and heavy aesthetic. The black, red and white color palette was chosen for this project, as well as the contrast in the use of heavier typography mixed with a lighter one.
